Emilie-Kate Owen started stand-up comedy in 2023 — and hasn't slowed down since.
She 'Beat the Blackout' at Up the Creek in 2024 and in 2025 was shortlisted for both the Ricky Gervais Spirit of Comedy Award and The Funny Women Awards.
She's performed all over the London comedy circuit, including regular appearances at Downstairs at The Kings Head and The Comedy Store.
Emilie-Kate is co-founder and resident MC of The Clap Comedy Club, bringing top UK comedians and rising stars to intimate local venues across London and Surrey. Every show is curated for big laughs, great atmosphere and a warm welcome — whether it's your first night or your fiftieth.
The Clap regularly runs shows at venues including The Doghouse, The Bell Inn and The Old Crown, with a mix of established headliners and exciting new talent on every bill.
